The ICS E1 sensors have an integrated load dump protection against voltage peaks in the onboard power supply.

The ICS E1 sensors have been tested according to the load dump test specified in ISO 7637-2 / SAE J1113-11, for both 12 V and 24 V batteries.

Garbage trucks utilise proximity sensors to monitor the position of the lift arms, fork, compaction cylinders and the locked position of doors and gates.
ICF inductive sensors have extreme mechanical durability thanks to one-piece stainless steel housing, 100 g shock and 40 g continuous shock resistance, and up to 260 bar maximum pressure on the sensing face. The green LED indicates when the sensor is operating in a safe sensing range or needs mechanical adjustment.
