Following the ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certifications, we are proud to announce that our Zejtun, Malta-based production plant has successfully achieved the ISO 45001:2018 certification.

ISO 45001 is an International Organization for Standardization (ISO) standard for management systems of occupational health and safety (OHS), published in March 2018. The goal of ISO 45001 is the reduction of occupational injuries and diseases, including the promotion and protection of physical and mental health.

This certification is a multi-step process that typically takes about one year to achieve.
The process typically involves familiarisation with standards, documenting processes, audits and assessments with follow-up, plus employee training. The certification process was carried out by MS CERT/EQA, one of the most reputable companies for ISO certifications.

It is another extremely important step, which confirms our commitment to protecting health and safety in the workplace, and that we take the safe and sustainable manufacturing of quality products seriously.
