Carlo Gavazzi Group informs its partners and stakeholders of recent developments that may impact the global semiconductor supply chain, particularly regarding components supplied by Nexperia.

Following the Dutch government’s decision to take control of Nexperia – formerly owned by China’s Wingtech Technology – diplomatic tensions have led China to impose export restrictions on Nexperia’s Chinese facilities.

These plants account for a significant share of the company’s global production, including key components for automotive and industrial applications.
Although temporary delays in the supply of certain components cannot be excluded, Carlo Gavazzi has already implemented a mitigation strategy aimed at minimizing any potential impact on its customers.

The plan includes inventory optimization, supplier diversification, qualification of alternative parts, and enhanced production planning.

A Group-wide support and component exchange program is also in place to ensure business continuity across all manufacturing sites.

The Group remains confident that the situation will stabilize soon and continues to monitor developments closely, providing timely updates as needed.
